Mindless Minds - Departure Lyrics
Official

Legend has it
Ages ago
Three Mindless Minds
Set off on a journey
To find their minds
Little did they know
That knowing the form
Of their minds
Would eventually make
Their minds disappear
By unchaining themselves
They became free
But it left them vulnerable
To a variety of entities
And other thoughts
That seemed to probe
Into the minds that were once
Protected by the secure
Shells of insecurity
Something so contradictory
That it seems unrealistic
Although with these three
Nothing was realistic at all
Their setting is in the
Past present and future
All at once
Philosophically speaking
To be mindless in the mind
Is to have absolutely
No neurological attachment
To the physiological realm
It's a state in which
Mind and matter
Are two separate entities
From birth to death
The regular human connects
What they can perceive with
What they believe
They begin forming bridges
With the world they live in
This causes an innate
Attachment to the physical realm
The Mindless three however
Have lived their short yet
Infinite lives with their
Mind detached from
Regular civilization
They live in a world
Where their physical body
Lives in a physical world and
Their thinking falls into
The metaphysical world
This is the exact reason
Why they don't quite
Fit into the molds made
For them and why
Comprehension of this
Group can be quite
A difficult task
So today we trek into
The deepest darkest caves of
The mindless to see if
Any sunlight shines through
Or if they are as
Desolate as many assume
Them to be
Follow us along the trek
Do not worry if you get lost
Cause even when
Your lost you are found
A good friend once told me
That in the place you think
You are the most alone
You are not alone
So let me pose a
Rhetorical question
Are we truly
Alone in our minds?
