I'll never describe myself as much of a law abiding citizen
I'll never say I enjoy obeying rules
And I always do my best at avoiding harm of others
And I always steer well clear of fools
But I am rather harmless, I am not too reckless and I am not to irresponsible
Well yes, there's been some junk and I love getting drunk but other than that I'm rather respectable
There are forces of great danger that's been driven by anger and it feeds off destruction, chaos and power
With it's malevolent in temper, check as power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely
Don't you think it's time we hear the bells ring, we're in denial, we're all obtuse
We're running ourselves towards the tyranny, a tyrant has been let loose
And at night you can hear them sing their gun songs, singing how they intend to kill
We'd better sleep with one eye open, how long before these threats become real?
Now matters continue to evolve in a matter that's rather revolving
Who are these people threatening revolution, it's not always a good thing
But most of the time they just talk while we sit in angst about those songs that's been sung
They say it's all good and well but how long before they cut out your mother tongue?
