I do not miss your urchin hair
It was never fit for me
But whether by touch or by imitation
I let it crawl over me
Things were better then because I made clear
That I was unable to be wrong
I breathed clean air, my arms swam through
Unintended, without intention
Not understanding what I believed you to be
I allowed you to eat into my privacy
And having once slipped into this behaviour
I was unable to see my error
So when the scorn poured down upon me
And soaked me through to the core
I turned to you, my incapable friends
You could not tolerate me clinging there
You pushed me into my present direction
I pursue it obediently; I find that it's true
To my better nature, which now dictates me
And leads me far from you
