The Paradoc - Legend Lyrics

The Paradoc - Legend Lyrics

Ever since I started out in this rap game, everybody wants to doubt
They're giving it in large amounts, and it really makes me just want to shout
It's I'm on the chopping block of a slaughterhouse, all they really wanna see is me falling down
Dead carcass on the bed being carted out, maybe that's why I give such a martyred sound (why's that)
Because I believe when I rap, I'm elevating to where the sky's at
And some just can't get they mind wrapped around the idea so they stabbing my back
Want my head on a plate tonight man, no if, ands, or buts about that
But I'm loaded up ready for combat, down for a war like Iran or Iraq
Because I gotta fight for my spot in this, everytime I got the mic in fist
They expect it all to be for nothing, a waste, but I just can't wait for the plot to twist
Maybe then I can watch the fits they all throw once I'm hitting the top of Olympus Mountain
Disrupt how they live and sit on their vain high horse until they get dismounted
I feel like God's Protecting me from a tarnished Legacy
Mention me failing, that'll work out for you, as good as faulty weaponry
If you step to me, success will be avoiding you desperately
Like it was tryna live healthily and you showed up with some leprosy

(I'm ready to go to war for this man
I done put all my chips on this one spot
So I'm ready to defend it anytime any place
Make sure you remember that, ha ha ha)

They're getting my message (aye), they're getting my message (aye)
It be so compelling they'll never ever forget it (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
Telling about my legend (aye), they're getting my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend

Each second loss that I haven't made it yet feels deadly y'all
Like I was hit with a pestilence unless I get to that next level y'all
So all bets are off, I don't need suspense at all
It's no need to wonder or guess if all of this gets to the point I'm trying to get it on (cuz I'm telling y'all)
I ain't never ever lied before in my rhyming flow so why would this be the time to go ahead and start
So believe me when I say one of these D-A-Y's I'm gone be able to say I'm a G.O.A.T
It was promised long before I was born in this world
It's mine fasho, both the crown and throne and everything else that my empire grows
So please God just don't leave me, it feels like nobody's gone need me
If they see my heat flow freezing then it really just might be so E-V-I-L
My life seems so measly without rap, I'd be dying so easy
Once I start rhyming so freely, then it's respect I get so easy
I put my life into the lines, every ion in the rhymes
So much so, that it's almost kinda like this songs alive
And it would kill me to see it all go to waste, everything would have to be thrown away
Close the stage, my heart gets soaked in pain and I would have no purpose or point to make

(This is my purpose man
I really feel like music is what I'm meant to do
To be honest with y'all,
I don't even want to think about what I'd be doing if it wasn't this)

They're getting my message (aye), they're getting my message (aye)
It be so compelling they'll never ever forget it (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
Telling about my legend (aye), they're getting my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend

It's rhyme or die, my options don't include a 9-5
Go to my job and drive back home and cry my eyes out, knowing that I done
Tried and tried, but I ain't reach the highest heights, then go to bed and sleep at
Night because I gotta get back up and grind and grind and grind and grind
It's a nightmare just thinking about it, wouldn't have no friends so I'd weep in silence
Just waiting to die, hating my life ain't really seeing no great things about it
I'd be watching these people succeed, maybe get jealous immediately
Because I'd be imprisoned by the thought of me failing without any freedom to leave
I need you all to understand, I don't have a back up plan
Because I don't plan to back down, or have to get back up man
This is my blueprint, it's to spit, it's my master plan
This is why college degrees weren't spotted to me and I swapped them for rapping fans
God gave me the gift of creating the lyrics to say how I feel against hatred and sickness
What they do is killing my brain as I'm living they made me a villain, so crazy and wicked
So I made the decision to take what I'm given, be great and this spitting, and raise up the ceiling
And level the mess in this wretched world until everybody gets the word

They're getting my message (aye), they're getting my message (aye)
It be so compelling they'll never ever forget it (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
Telling about my legend (aye), they're getting my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend

(Telling about my legend)

Telling about my legend (aye)
Telling about my legend (aye)
They're getting my lessons and they're telling about my legend (aye)
My purpose in life was never ever to be flexing but be blessings to the rest
So one day they're teaching my lessons and they're telling about my legend
