King and Queen
A thousand years ago it seamed
That we played side by side
All that we did care about
Was our little world
You were King and I was Queen
On horses high we rode
We porudly crossed our kingdoms land
A place of light and gold
All the battles that we fought
We never ever failed
To rise again with heads held high
To see another day
We rose a sword with mighty roar
And marched the battlefield
For you were King and I was Queen
And that would never change
And now were old at least it seems
We've wasted so much time
With woundering and questioning
Where the road will end
Through all the battles we got brused
And wounded deep inside
We tried to guard our tender hearts
But also often failed
But when we catch each others glance
And feel the pain alive
We know we never let this go
This dream we keep inside
And so we're sitting side by side
And once again we try
For you are King and I am Queen
And that would never ever change
