Dwell in the secret place of the Most High,Resting in the shadow of the Almighty, oh my.
I'll say of the Lord, "He's my refuge and my fortress,"My God, in Him will I trust, no more stress.
He will cover you with His feathers,
Under His wings, you'll find shelter.
His faithfulness will be your shield,
In His presence, all wounds are healed.
(Under His wings) I find my peace,
(Under His wings) my fears release.
In His arms, I'm safe and sound,
(Under His wings) I'm heaven-bound.
You won't fear the terror of the night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day, hold on tight.
Nor the pestilence that stalks in the dark,
Nor the destruction that lays waste, can't leave a mark.
A thousand may fall at your side,
Ten thousand at your right hand, but you'll abide.
You'll only observe with your eyes,
See the reward of the wicked, no surprise.
(Under His wings) I find my peace,
(Under His wings) my fears release.
In His arms, I'm safe and sound,
(Under His wings) I'm heaven-bound.
Because you've made the Lord your dwelling place,
No harm will overtake you, no evil face.
For He will command His angels concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways, it's true.
They will lift you up in their hands,
So you won't strike your foot against the sands.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra,
Trample the great lion and the serpent, Jehovah.
(Under His wings) I find my peace,
(Under His wings) my fears release.
In His arms, I'm safe and sound,
(Under His wings) I'm heaven-bound.
"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I'll rescue him,
Protect him, for he acknowledges my name, no whim.
He'll call on me, and I will answer,
I'll be with him in trouble, my love enhancer."
With long life, I'll satisfy him,
Show him my salvation, his joy won't dim.
I'll honor him, lift him up high,
In my presence, he'll never die.
(Under His wings) I find my peace,
(Under His wings) my fears release.
In His arms, I'm safe and sound,
(Under His wings) I'm heaven-bound.
He's my shepherd, I shall not want,
Makes me lie in green pastures, oh what a font.
Leads me beside still waters, restores my soul,
Guides me in paths of righteousness, He makes me whole.
Though I walk through the valley of death's shadow,
I fear no evil, for He's with me, so.
His rod and staff, they comfort me,
He prepares a table, my cup runs free.
(Under His wings) I find my peace,
(Under His wings) my fears release.
In His arms, I'm safe and sound,
(Under His wings) I'm heaven-bound.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me,
All the days of my life, endlessly.
I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever,
(Under His wings) nothing can sever
