Rising Sun, and the dawn's first light,
Jack's on the move, to his heart's delight.
A shadow in the sun, slick and fast,
Living each moment, until the last.
Jacks running in the backyard
He grabs a toy and jumps so high
Running with his ears flapping
Brings us joy and keeps us laughing
They call him Jack,
He's The Captain
Through the doggy door, he bursts with flair,
A streak of black, flying through the air.
No yard too wide, no ball too far,
He steals the show, our shining star.
Evening falls, and the pace slows down,
Jack's by my side, wearing his crown.
A glance, a snuggle, gentle and kind,
In this loyal friend, peace I find.
Jacks running in the backyard
He grabs a toy and jumps so high
Running with his ears flapping
Brings us joy and keeps us laughing
They call him Jack,
He's The Captain
As stars take the stage, and night takes its claim,
Jack rests his head, knowing he won the game.
In dreams, he chases, far and wide,
Captain Jack, forever he'll fly.
