Sensing despair I thought to merge was to care
So I stuffed my smile and nausea as it arrived
My liver swelled and knees gave out
Put my body through the ringer as my way to shout

Resisting you splits me in two
And my guts churn and my mind whirls when I do
I've fought hard not to be okay
But can I stay and break this need to save?
