Why do you boast of evil deeds, O Bangland
God's mercy reigns, it's his plan
Your tongue sharp as a blade, weaving lies so fine
In love with darkness, calling wrong what's divine
O Bangland, your downfall nears
God's justice will wipe away your sneers
You'll be torn from the land of life
While good souls watch, free from strife
You revel in gossip, venomous sting
But God's hand will clip your arrogant wing
Your wealth, your power, all built on dread
But in the end, it's mercy that'll spread
O big man, your towers will fall
Your riches crumble, no refuge at all
But in God's house and knowledge tree stands
Trusting his mercy in his hands
I thank you, Lord, for your timely grace
For in your presence, I find my place
I'll remain here with faithful friends
In hope that your goodness never ends
So let the song of mercy rise
As we stand firm beneath the skies
O big man, your reign will cease
But in God's love, we'll find our peace
