This is a story of my dear old amigo, Fernando Garcia III
And his beautiful Matilda Rosita
She was a shopping cart, but love has no boundaries
And her wheels would never squeak
He would take her shopping
Every Tuesday and Thursday
To the local Food Lion to pick up taco shells
But alas, things were about to take a turn for the worse
Her wheels started drifting and turning away
Fernando was confused; well, he had to say
"Matilda, Matilda! Do not go!
I love you, I love you, I love you so!"
Matilda!
And then, poor Fernando was distraught
And his heart was split into dos
Like Dos Amigos, my favorite restaurant!
Which Fernando actually created after his devasting loss of his beloved shopping cart
Anyways, after closing one night
He saw the Seven Lords defiling his Matilda
"No!" he said, which is 'no' for Spanish
Wait, which is Spanish for no
Sorry, I'm off my pills
They took Matilda away in their 2001 white Chevy Cavalier
Seeing this, Fernando went on a mission that he could not fail
Fernando revved up his rusty white van
And he chased those teenagers across the land
"I love you, Matilda; I miss you so!
"I want you, I need you, I'll take you home!"
Matilda!
But as Fernando chased the unknowing teenagers across the state
He came upon a tight turn that he did not see
And hit it going exactly ninety-five miles per hour
And flipped his van thirty-nine times down a hill
And it exploded twice
But alas, as the smoke cleared and the dust settled
Fernando could be seen alive
I mean, barely alive. He's not the Terminator
But, as Fernando dragged his battered body from the wreckage
He shouted the only word on his mind
The only word that mattered to him
Which was "Matilda!"
As Fernando rolled onto his back
And stared at the stars
He saw the outline of a familiar shopping cart
It was Matilda
