The name was initially named "Six Tones" but later changed to "SixTones" and pronounced "Stones", with the "ix" in "Six" being silent.
"Stones" symbolizes the group's potential, much like a "diamond in the rough" - a metaphor for how their talents continually evolve and shine as they refine their skills. Additionally, the name alludes to the six members, each possessing their own unique tone, personality, and sound, creating a diverse and harmonious ensemble.
