I hold this drink in hand
To remind me to forget to remind me
Of all my time spent wasted
In self-deprecation of every gland
Yet still I know I'm only a little man
Roaming these streets to find my home land
Whatever that might entail
A homeless so lonely yet native everywhere
I pour this drink and pour slowly
Because I bought enough for two of me
To soak myself in my own grief
And another to soak in my own self pity
Yet still I know I'm only a grain of sand
Held together by a tiny span
Of time, light, and emotion
A homeless so lonely yet native everywhere
Drunk in an hour glass
To many hours passed
Passed out in a trunk, drunk mass
Does anyone have a place to stay
I need a pad to lay away
These confines
Rock the wrong way
Boat's moving too fast
Sure this wont last
Sick to my stomach
About to pass
But don't worry
You'll find me in the underpass
You'll find me in the underpass
