Süp127 - Majority Rules Lyrics

Süp127 - Majority Rules Lyrics

I'll say majority rules when the majority isn't stupid
What they teach you in schools is to get you recruited
Whether the army of ignorance or the tax factory
They want your existence to remain in slavery
Compare it to the past, to the slavery you were taught about
Slaves were raised to serve and work fast, so that's what they thought about
How many of you were taught, money makes the world go 'round
Now look at what you bought, now defend your ground
Try to grasp the idea that we are still slaves
And happy to be one, with our invisible chains
But you really ain't satisfied, cause you really ain't free
You can't imagine life without cars and TV
Not to diss technology, boob tubes are great inventions
But something's telling me, it's used for stupid intentions
There is a fat line between abuse and use
Like a drug, you'll find your addicted to the news
And shows and ads, you be needing a fix
Staring into the glass, as the channel flicks
I call it stupid meditation, you stop thinking and look
Hindering imagination that you may find in a book
Regular meditating, you choose the topics
TV is brainwashing about material objects
Plus my eyes are painful when I watch too much
I was raised without cable and I'm thankful for such
'Cause that's the government tool for mind control
And when they control mind, follows body and soul
Yo, democracy sounds great by theory n' all
But mobocracy is what the founders were fearin', y'all
And what we have now is exactly that way
And that is how there's only two candidates
Campaign financing controlled by corporations
Controlling those on they asses with TV stations
With government and corporate so tightly knit
It's no wonder why you can't be trusting shit
You can't trust your country, you can't trust your people
They only want your money, they'll train you to be evil
If you can trust your family, consider yourself blessed
So many families are ruined by their mess
And who are they: the system
The geniuses who decided to mix democracy and capitalism
Think about, you have free enterprise
No limit to what trick advertising can devise
To have you trapped in their popular culture
They take you into their hands like clay and they mold ya'
When was the last time you didn't believe what you see
I think of TV as machinery for factories
That create, nice cute, human clones
As long as we're told we're happy, anything goes
So they take polls, throw you in the voting booth
Don't believe me?, Just check yourself for proof
The whole time they make more competition
Making money the sole motivation for every person
Corrupting humanity, but it's not their plan
They're just as confused as any other human
It's the only form of society we know
So we prosper in it, and it continues to grow
But it destroys our dominion, our own home
We're screwed if nukes make the whole earth blown
There's no way we'll ever live upon another planet
The final frontier is a myth, God damn it!
We've evolved chemically to live this far from the sun
So if we ruin it now, it's ruined for generations to come
Just like that, the problem was passed on to mine
So maybe you can give me some credit for tryin'
And if I had some support, we could end this
Enlightened aware minds unite to defend this
Planet earth, and all the beauty she birthed
Before ignorance has the planet immersed
In destruction and selfish temporary emotions
This is a cause worthy of life devotion
If you think I'm stupid for hopin', you must agree
For this lack of passion, I hope you feel guilty
If you think you got your head on straighter
Speak up, do your part, or die a traitor
Just think about, men destroy our only resources
To gain power over other men with their forces
When this power trip cease?
When will human kind learn to live in peace?
When. Will. Human. Kind. Learn. To. Live. In. Peace?
Beats me
