Süp127 - Simplicity (feat. Oa$e) Lyrics

Sometimes I wonder what's right and wrong
The right way to start a song (The right way to start a song?)
What's with cops harassing oh so long
Cause we bumpin' songs? (Cause we bumpin' songs)

Sometimes shit works out, sometimes it doesn't
It worked so perfectly, now everything seems busted
There's ups and downs, there's always a trade-off
You get what you put in, your repaid the same cost
It always works out, one way or another
You can't fight fate, any day you could go under
But then again, you never know
How deep you can go, before you hit the undertow
So, control your flow, learn the value of hard work
Or stay living poor because he never undertook
Any challenges, didn't put in the effort
In that continuous cycle of feeling fooled and rejected
You took the backseat, so you could fake full commitment
Never given second thought, to the life you was livin'
But it's all good, 'cause in the end
You earned what you spent
You should hear me again to see what I meant
Cause you and I both know you're not used to lyrics
Usually the same old BS, you learn not to hear it
But if you ever wake up, just remember
The real content is here, Süp ain't no pretender
And to the real heads, you know who you are
Stay committed, cause Süp could never stray too far
So trust that I will stay real
Delivering simplicity, in a form you can feel, yeah

I question the way we live
Because we both know it isn't right
We take and never give
So lowly is our height
There must be a better way
I try so hard to see
Living confused every day
It must be simplicity

Are people too good for slaps or daps?
They need to be right and be, "What's the haps?"
Put on your caps for a cold, old world
Because I'ma tell you how it all unfurls
I begin with a grin, come out to win
No regrets, no shame, no sin, just kin
Like sisters, brothers
Killing their own mother
People build walls and they oh so stubborn
Why do people, want to kill hope
When we need to, kill all dope
And the ropes that hold you down
You joke like a clown and that makes me frown
Come together, once for some changes
On cops that be targeting us, like shooting ranges
It's so good, to see all y'all faces
I'm ready for anything, I tied my laces

Sometimes I wonder what's wrong and what's right
Is it all opinion, or some special insight?
If murder is so bad, and healing is good
When you go to a doctor, what does it cost an arm and a foot?
Because if money is the root of all evil
Then why is money the goal for so many people?
Or even more so, why is money even legal?
They collected in baskets, at your local church steeple
So you got your money, so money is good
This is money we've stole from people with no food
It just doesn't make sense, how does it figure
Unknowingly, we do wrong to make our pockets bigger
Is it survival of the fittest, but are we really fitter?
Because we were born privileged, or born a sinner
Or are we innocent, because we know not of our crime?
Did I just make you guilty, exposing you to my rhyme?
And if we are innocent, then who takes the blame?
The few in power, but how will it even out the same?
Because if you really think about it, those few
Only have the power because they're backed by me and you
Do we really mean to back them, or anyone for that matter
Knowing what they'll do to make our pockets fatter?
Knowing I can't be excluded only makes me sadder
And knowing you could care less, makes me even madder
The latter is worse because what does that make me?
An uncivilized savage, pissed off and angry
Is it something wrong with me
Or something wrong with those who disagree?
But hey, what does wrong mean anyway?
Incorrect according to you but who are you to say?
Who gave you the right, and who taught me to accept it?
Who locks me up if I choose to reject it?
And who taught them to lock me up?
Am I the only one asking, or just to speak up?
Does anyone have the answer, does anyone even care?
Ignorance is the greatest cancer, so please won't you share?
Are these questions rhetorical, do I already know?
Or do I want you to explore, and question life on a whole?

I'm unconcerned with all your dollar profits
I'm a landscaper, who deals with real topics
What's the earth gonna be in ten years or more?
Blown to shreds because of your little war
Me, oh no siree
I'm speakin' up to make y'all see, that if we
Come together to do what's right in the mind
And say, "F*ck all propaganda with a stupid design"
Come twice, for some changes
On politicians who can't come within effective range of us
It's so good to see all y'all faces
You heard it before, I've tied my laces
