For a bed in a shed down in Bethlehem
Many, many years ago
On a heap of hay on a special day
A little baby lay his head.
Noble kings from afar saw a silver star
Give a smile to the town below.
And the shepherds knew what they had to do
When an angel to them said:
Will you sing (Will you sing)
'He's the King'? ('He's the King'?)
It's the message we bring this Christmas,
Will you hear? (Will you hear?)
Will you cheer (Will you cheer)
With joy?
Will you stay? (Will you stay?)
Will you pray (Will you pray)
For the baby that's born this Christmas?
Will you tell? (Will you tell?)
Will you welcome this boy?
Though the story of glory in Bethlehem
Was so many years ago,
Though the scene has gone yet the truth lives on
In the Lord's own son today.
For the message He brought and the things He taught
Are for all of the world to know,
And His love's the same as the hour He came
So we'll join in song to say:
Will you sing (Will you sing)
'He's the King'? ('He's the King'?)
It's the message we bring this Christmas,
Will you hear? (Will you hear?)
Will you cheer (Will you cheer)
With joy?
Will you stay? (Will you stay?)
Will you pray (Will you pray)
For the baby that's born this Christmas?
Will you tell? (Will you tell?)
Will you welcome this boy?
Will you sing (Will you sing)
'He's the King'? ('He's the King'?)
It's the message we bring this Christmas,
Will you hear? (Will you hear?)
Will you cheer (Will you cheer)
With joy?
Will you stay? (Will you stay?)
Will you pray (Will you pray)
For the baby that's born this Christmas?
Will you tell? (Will you tell?)
Will you welcome this boy?
...This blessed infant boy!
