Old Ontario
Well I've been up and down old Ontario
And I know I've got a long way to go
In spite of all the wonders that I have found
I know there are more just down the road
And the old Speed River rambles on
And the people can't help but sing the song
Of an ancient land, the drumlins and the cedars all aglow
Well I've been up and down old Ontario
And I know I've got a long way to go
Well I've been up and down old Ontario
And I know I've got a long way to go
In spite of all the valleys that I've bound through
I know there are more for me to do
And the Poplar leaves rustle in the summer breeze
And the Oak leaves rattle in the winter freeze
Oh the Scotch does well in a cold winter spell
With the cedars in shadow
Well I've been up and down old Ontario
And I know I've got a long way to go
I know I've got a long way to go
I know I've got a long way to go
