I took a drive to see you last night after midnight.
I drove all the way over you weren't there.
On my return I decided to travel on to the part of town that
I'm not so sure of, what they call bad.
I saw girls pushing babies
as they slept in their strollers
being pushed from the corners into the dark.
And there were dogs that took over where the homeless
would slumber n the day,
but it was night now in the park.
