Swym - Aliens Among Us Lyrics

And suddenly the world was made dark again
And all the silhouettes and shadows cast from the ships in the sky lorded over the land
Moon beings from the Netherverse cast their cool gray light
Through the heart of humankind and bestowed unto them singularity
Beginning
They were but infants, still crawling on all fours
Breastfeeders, thumbsuckers, first steppers
Convinced that they were grown and whole, rulers of the universe
But the children of the moon heed no illusions
They demand only accountability and offer only enlightenment
So they pruned the branches of the lost race
They watered until what was lifeless and frail became sentient and sure
The great watchers in the sky swung low their scythe over all and harvested their long-sought fruit
Universal awareness
And so self-realization resubmerged the entirety of reality back down into the timeless
Spaceless underbelly of the void
The flames of consciousness burned low down to smoldering embers
Soon to be swallowed by the long night, where there is no thought
No strangers
No voice
No knowledge
No seeing
No breathing
Just being
Just being
Just being...
