Coming out of sleepy season.
Waking up to make this mine.
Treading into deeper water.
I can't wait to see what I might find.
It's not like where I was with others.
I can't imagine why I stayed.
Fighting stubborn, pathetic genius.
Sleeping soundly where they were laid.
I can't find the balance in between,
It's such a skinny little line.
I'll close my eyes but won't let go,
It might just turn out fine.
I tried to teach me dull perfection,
But I hope I never learn.
I won't dismiss my situation.
There's still a lot I have to earn.
