In my darker times, I try to cast my weight
Trying to control the plan, try to steer my fate
Making sure all my dreams, are here to stay
Then they get ripped apart, and all blow away
Look onto the sky, crying out loud
What happens to me now

Flashing over my life, I've seen a lot of doors
Some I walked thru, and fell through the floor
Some that carried me away, and I looked back no more
All that's over now, as I struggle to the core
Caught up in the weeds, Theban is in the breeze
Stones near me now

Onto another sun, as it rises in the east
Night still lingers on, as I battle with disease
Trying hard grip me to, succumb for my needs
Just as I have before, in the night I feel so free
Already high, free in the sky
Then I smash to the floor

I reach for higher ground, alone it slips away
Falling back as before, I fear this is where I stay
Lady of the Moon, pulls me off the ground
The pain of yesterday, has finely come unbound
Shining in the night, floating out of sight
She takes my life her way
