Just like moving here and just expecting so much differently
Like not even knowing what the f*ck I was getting myself into

Now reflecting present day I'm like
It was all about love and about connection
And learning what that is and how much value that has to me
And the others around me
And now I'm just like
So excited to see now, what and how to use what I've learned
And what we've all learned
And apply it to this new year
I agree
I think one of the biggest things for me was that
I felt like this entire year I was trying to keep people in my life
That weren't meant to be there for as long as they, you know, just were
And I think a lot of it had to do with the values and how like
A lot of the people that I was trying to keep close to me I'm like
We didn't even share the same values
And I realize how important it is for me now, to be with people who do share the same values
Cus I think that ultimately gives me the most peace
Knowing that the people around me and I are on the same page
Versus the entirety of the past year or so
I was trying to chase after people
I'm like you and I aren't even on the same page
Like what the f*ck was I doing
Well
So I'm glad it happened
Because now we learn and we grow
And how it was just in your face
Like you had no choice but to face shit
